Counseling Intern

I believe that we all have the necessary tools to facilitate personal growth and overcome psychological barriers to be the best version of ourselves. We all go through trials and tribulations in life, and there is no shame in reaching out for help. I am here to guide you along the way and support you in meeting your goals. I use a person-centered approach that emphasizes empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. This is to provide you with a safe and judgment free space to express your inner emotions and pressing issues. My passion is to help people find balance and become all they can be, so that they can excel in their own life passions. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in areas of depression, anxiety, and behavioral problems. My counseling style also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Neuropsychology, and takes on a Holistic approach. I graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Psychology. I am currently a counseling intern working on my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University. I look forward to getting to know you and working alongside you in this process.
