Counseling Intern
We all need to have others to rely on. Whether it’s helping to view a problem from a different perspective or walking alongside them with an ear to hear and a heart to care, it’s important to have someone that we feel we can trust.
My approach to counseling is goal-oriented, with a focus on building a collaborative therapeutic relationship with my clients. I’ll learn from you, just as hopefully you will learn from me! I look forward to helping you work on coping strategies to deal with possible stressors as well as work to understand the reasoning behind certain behaviors, feelings, and thoughts.
I am in the process of getting my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University, and I have obtained my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado. In my free time, I love going on hikes with my friends, spending time with my family and dog, and trying out different restaurants around Colorado. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!
