Relationships, family dynamics, school issues, and transitions can challenge parents and their teenage children (12 – 25 years) in unexpected ways. Dealing with the struggles can make any parent want pull out their hair and can make teens feel unsuccessful which leads to pulling away, getting bad grades, having bad friendships and influences, and choosing destructive behaviors. Because I understand teenagers, parenting, and schools inside and out. When teenagers work with me, they find a safe place to explore emotions and face the challenges that come in the daily experience of learning what it means to be a secure, communicative, thriving person.
