I know what it’s like to be so depressed you’re not sure you can go on, anxiety so severe it feels like you’re going to crawl out of your skin, divorce, alcoholism, isolation, social anxiety, low self-esteem, and hopelessness. I also know what it’s like to overcome them all. Together we can do just that.

Building relationships is an essential part of counseling, and it happens to be one of my key strengths. I am passionate about building trusting, honest relationships with my clients. I mean, how can you possibly share your inner world with a perfect stranger without first establishing a trusting relationship? I know I can’t.

I believe people are inherently good. Because of our uniqueness, I believe that there is no one size fits all approach to counseling as everyone experiences depression, anxiety, anger, grief, or trauma in their way. We need to confront our fear, anxiety, and depression and lay excuses aside like, “I don’t have time,” “no one can help me,” “nobody understands how I am feeling,” “things are hopeless.” We can make time. I am here to help, understand your pain, and offer hope. I enjoy working with teens, adults, and couples. I don’t believe that all good therapy needs to take place within four walls. It can happen over video or phone, or even outside as we are blessed to live in a beautiful state.

Counseling often involves the re-sculpting of our mind and behavior into healthier modes of being. We must allow ourselves the grace and openness to recognize and embrace our full potential. Come along, and together, let’s navigate the path of new beginnings and tap into the awesomeness that is you.
