Vinnie Kleeman, M.A., LPCC

Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

A lot of parents wonder, “Why is this so hard for my child?” Or, “What can I do to help my child?” The answers aren’t clear, but I can help. I am a licensed professional counselor candidate (LPCC), specializing in working with children and their families. Kids nowadays are struggling with so many things and have a lot of pressure on them to do their best. No parent likes to see their kid hurt or struggling with things, and neither do I. My passion is to help kids who need support to find balance and live a better life. When working with kids I utilize play therapy to provide a more comfortable environment for the kid to be in. I like to be creative and have fun with my work using, art, sand tables, music, and much more.

My goal is to help empower others to build on his or her strengths in order to achieve change in a comfortable, trusting environment. I also am experienced in working with teens, adults, military men and woman, and people struggling with substance abuse. Originally from Colorado, I graduated from Gonzaga with my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, while specializing in working with kids and teens utilizing play therapy. As a First Lieutenant in the United States Army and a medical officer, I come from a big, wild family and have four brothers. I love being outdoors and having fun with my family and friends. Everyone deserves a voice, let yours be heard.
