Counseling Intern
The world often asks us to shrink, to mold ourselves into spaces that weren’t built to hold the fullness of who we are. Whether that’s by overlooking neurodiversity, alienating us from our culture, or stifling our gender expression, these forces can make it hard to be ourselves. That’s why my counseling approach is grounded in celebrating your uniqueness. I believe that your strengths are a gift and that your story matters. If you’ve ever been pressured to quiet or suppress parts of yourself, I welcome you to give those parts a voice. There is space for you.
I honor the strengths of the LGBTQIA+ community and value the diversity of experiences we bring to the world. With seven years of experience tutoring neurodivergent adults, alongside my personal experience, I hold a deep awareness of how ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities, and other differences can impact school, work, and relationships. I am well-suited to support neurodivergent adults, especially those who are high-masking and/or discovering their neurodivergence later in life. I’m also passionate about supporting individuals navigating grief, loss, life transitions such as career changes, relationship dynamics (including non-monogamy), and identity exploration. I integrate narrative, person-centered, depth psychology, and creative/expressive interventions to co-create a space where healing can be authentic and expansive. Together, we can explore the layers of your identity and experiences with compassion and curiosity.
Outside of the therapeutic space, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and two rambunctious cats! I also love gardening, cooking, writing, and playing music, especially the bass guitar. These experiences have taught me how profoundly creativity and self-expression can transform and heal. If you are an artist, creative, or curious about expressive therapies, I would be honored to explore what creativity means to you and how it can become a unique and powerful tool in your journey of growth and healing.
