Counseling Intern

I am deeply committed to holding compassionate space for those navigating the complexities of life, with a strong belief in the profound connection between mind and body. My counseling approach is centered on creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your experiences, emotions, and personal growth at your own pace. My professional work with the human body, as both a licensed massage therapist and certified yoga teacher, informs my focus on the body to enrich our understanding of the presenting concerns in the room.  In my 10+ years of experience supporting folks to heal and reclaim their purpose and life,  I have discovered that we must – not only – think through our feelings but feel them in our bodies, too. Because of this, my work emphasizes bridging the gap between the head and the heart and often includes somatic meditations.

I am well-suited to support individuals dealing with chronic pain and health issues, anxiety and depression related to self-concept, non-monogamous relationship structures, and those grappling with grief and the search for purpose. My deep understanding of alternate states of consciousness, including the therapeutic use of psychedelic medicine, enables me to assist clients in preparing for or integrating these transformative experiences. My work is grounded in depth psychology and enriched by gestalt, existential, and person-centered frameworks.

I look forward to being with all of you, in the full range of expression, present in the magnificent human condition.
