Kacey Skaggs, M.A., LPCC

Locations: Denver/Aurora, Castle Rock & Teletherapy

Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

I enjoy working with teens, adults, and couples. My practice is influenced by client empowerment, relational wounding, the need for healing and recovery, and mindfulness-based techniques. I am passionate and have a profound commitment to my client’s well-being and growth. Building deep connections with sensitivity and a trauma-informed approach is crucial in fostering a safe and supportive environment for exploration and self-discovery. I am goal-oriented and approach therapy with compassion, with genuine curiosity for understanding your unique perspectives, and with earnest hope for the future. I identify as multi-racial, and understand the difficulties associated with feeling different than everyone else, feeling misunderstood, and like you don’t belong. I help clients explore and co-create a deeper meaning of their experiences so that they can gain new awareness and self-acceptance.

I am an LPCC, with an M.A. in Counseling from Regis University. I love animals and am obsessed with my cat and dog! I am an avid plant lady, and a Starbucks enthusiast.

We all have a story to tell, and I am honored to join you on this journey!
