Kaleigh Bernard

Counseling Intern

Hi, I’m Kaleigh! I’m a student intern from Capella University’s M.S of Marriage and Family Therapy program. I’m passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families move from feeling stuck and overwhelmed to feeling grounded, confident, and empowered. Whether you’re navigating major life transitions, the challenges of everyday demands, or relationship stress, I’ll meet you with curiosity, compassion, and a belief in your ability to create meaningful change.

When I’m not chasing my toddler, I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time with my family. I’m coming to Denver Counseling Solutions from a background of 7 years of victim advocacy- experiences that taught me the importance of resilience, trauma-informed awareness, and creating safe spaces for vulnerability.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in your strengths. I often integrate solution-focused strategies, mindfulness, and emotionally attuned support to help you gain clarity and move forward with confidence. Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about uncovering the part of you that already knows the way forward.

If you’re ready to feel more connected to yourself and in your relationships, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
