Kim Kaplan, MA, MFTC
A core belief of my practice is that nobody exists in a vacuum. Every day, each of us interacts with countless systems and relationships. They affect us, and we, in turn, affect them. Because of this, I take a holistic, attachment-based approach to therapy.
My approach is also strengths-based and collaborative. I believe you are the expert of your own lived experience, and my role is to help you safely explore and navigate it. Together, we’ll build goals that fit you, not a one-size-fits-all model of healing.
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFT-C) and a graduate of Regis University, trained to work with couples, families, and individuals. I also have training in postpartum and perinatal mental health, and I love supporting people through the profound relational shifts that come with new parenthood. I completed my internship at Denver Counseling Solutions and I am thrilled to continue my work here as an MFT-C.
I am originally from Florida and a mother to a rambunctious toddler myself. In my free time, I love to read and get outside as much as I can. I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years, and it remains my favorite way to get out of my head and into my body.
I would be honored to work with you!
