Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

I believe each individual is wonderfully different and unique, with each having their own story to tell. My goal for each encounter is to create a safe and calm environment where you will feel secure in sharing your story. In this safe space our relationship will be collaborative regarding treatment goals. I am empathic and sincere in my passion to see your personal growth. I particularly enjoy collaborating with mothers who find themselves struggling with the balance of parenthood and individuality. I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Therapy (goal oriented and supportive), and Narrative therapy. However, I believe therapy is just as unique as the individual where a variety of methods and tools can be utilized. Entering into therapy is often a challenging yet rewarding step in an individual’s life. The goal of counseling is for individuals to understand themselves better, turn a roadblock into a bridge, and find peace within. Sometimes it may be hard to discuss sensitive or triggering topics, and that is ok! We can navigate those obstacles together! I greatly admire your courage for taking the first step into therapy. I look forward to the privilege of hearing your story and connecting in your journey. I also offer eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to assist with anxiety, PTSD, and depression.

I have a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. In my free time I love being outdoors, especially during the summer! I have recently began paddle boarding, which has quickly become my favorite hobby!
